Calibration Services

Orion Strategic Solutions, LLC serves as the prime contractor supporting the NUWCDIVNPT Metrology and Calibration Laboratory (MCL) under a five-year Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This effort provides mission-critical calibration and repair services for Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) across a wide range of measurement domains.

Scope of Work:
Under this contract, Orion is responsible for the material coordination, calibration, and repair of TMDE used to support submarine, undersea weapons, and autonomous system programs. Services are provided in compliance with NAVSEA and NIST standards, ensuring traceability, precision, and reliability in all metrology activities.

Services Provided:

• Calibration and repair of TMDE across 24 distinct fields including electrical, dimensional, mechanical, and environmental domains

• Management of asset tracking, calibration scheduling, and documentation using the Navy’s AMDS and MCMS systems

• Oversight of vendor-certified calibration and QA inspections for inbound and outbound equipment

• On-site support at NUWCDIVNPT (Newport, RI) and AUTEC
